If YES, click the link below to view your enrollment status.

The Cornell Summer Sports School is offering its 29th annual summer sports camp program in 2008. It is open for boys and girls ages 7-18. All camps are held at the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York. Through these programs, thousands of athletes from around the United States and other foreign countries have received instruction and learned new skills.

Camp staff features college coaches from Cornell and guest coaches from other Universities. Some camps feature professional players and Olympic level athletes. Many summer sports camps feature Cornell athletes as counselors.

Most summer camps are resident overnight camps and typically start on Sunday and end on Thursday. These camps also offer the commuter option for those campers who live near Cornell. Several sports offer day camps which run from Monday through Friday.

Cornell offers the following summer sports camps:

COED CAMPS
BOYS' CAMPS
GIRLS' CAMPS

Resident campers
Resident campers must be at least 10 years old! Campers stay on campus in Cornell University residence halls and may be housed in single or double rooms. Cornell's award winning dining halls (near the residence halls) provide three hot meals per day.

All resident summer sports camps feature morning and afternoon instructional sessions. Most camps feature an evening instruction session, while other sport camps include an evening recreation program.

Evening Recreation
Many camps include evening recreation such as swimming, recreational sports, bowling, and movies. Miniature golf and go-carting will also be offered on a pay-for-use basis. Camps with scheduled evening recreation are golf, boy's ice hockey, volleyball skills, swimming, sailing, tennis and rock climbing.

Commuters
Local campers have the option to commute to our resident summer camps. Campers participate in all of the camp sessions and are provided meals between scheduled sessions (breakfasts are not included). The commuter drop-off times, pick-up times and locations will be indicated in the camp itinerary (mailed upon receipt of enrollment form).

Day camps
Cornell offers a limited number of day camps for local children. Some day camps include lunch, while others require campers to bring their own. The day camper drop-off/pick-up times and locations will be indicated in the camp itinerary (mailed upon receipt of enrollment form).

Supervision
Campers are supervised by college students and recent graduates, most of whom are education majors with high school and/or college athletic experience. Campers will not be permitted to travel anywhere without supervision! The Sports School has an on site Medical Director who is responsible for the administration of all medications, treatment of illness and injuries, and the general health and welfare of the campers.
