Cornell Golf Camps features
a three hour instructional session and a round of golf each day.
Instuction and golfing take place at Cornell's beautiful Robert
Trent Jones Golf Course in Ithaca, New York. Instruction consists
of the five different components of golf: putting, chipping, pitching,
full swing with irons and full swing with woods.
Campers are placed in small groups with a specialized instructor and rotate throughout the morning to several of the five stations. Afternoon rounds of golf allow campers to practice their new skills and their course management. Resident campers stay in one
of Cornell University's residence halls and dine in one of Cornell's
"award winning" dining halls. Lunches will be provided
at the Moakley House on the golf course. Commuter campers receive
the same instruction as residents as well as a delicious hot lunch.
Resident campers will participate
in evening recreation each day. Activities include recreational
sports, swimming, miniature golf, bowling, movies, nature walks
and go-carting.
All campers receive a FREE camp t-shirt and sleeve of golf balls.
