GraapJenny Graap
Cornell University Head Coach
An All-American at Cornell in 1986, she returned to her alma mater as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in 1997. Two seasons ago Graap led the Big Red to a third place finish in the NCAA Championships and was named the "National Coach of the Year."
Before coming to Cornell, Graap had been the head women's lacrosse coach at George Mason University. She started the Mason program in 1993 and built it to national prominence during her four years at the helm.  From 1990-93 Graap was an assistant lacrosse coach at Penn State while earning a master's degree in exercise and sport science-sport administration. During her time with the Nittany Lions, they made three NCAA tournament appearances.
As an undergraduate, Graap twice captained both the field hockey and lacrosse teams at Cornell, earning four letters in each sport. She was second-team All-Ivy in field hockey as a senior, and ranks 11th on the Cornell all-time list for points scored in a career, with 11 goals and two assists.  In 1986, Jenny was named to the Brine Regional All-America lacrosse team, and she finished her career 11th on the all-time school points list with 91. She is also 11th in career goals with 61 and tied for seventh in assists with eleven.
