Cornell Summer
Sailing Camps 2008

Campers learn to sail while having fun as they apply their sailing skills on beautiful Cayuga Lake. Campers use Cornell's new fleet of sailboats!

July 13-17, and
July 20-24

For boys and girls ages 10-18

Our sailing camps features two three hour sessions each day (Sundays have one four hour session). Each session begins at Cornell's marina on Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, NY. Campers learn the skills and techniques needed to become a knowledgeable sailor through expert demonstration and hands on sailing. They will execute new sailing skills each day when they man Cornell's modern sailboat fleet. The fleet includes eleven Vanguard Racing 14' Intercollegiate 420's, two J24', a Pierson 26' sailboat and three 26ft Rangers.

Resident camp includes lodging and meals in one of our award-winning dining halls. Resident campers also have fun while participating in evening recreation Sunday-Wednesday evenings. Recreational activities include recreational sports, swimming, miniature golf, batting cages, bowling, movies, nature walks and go-carting. Commuter campers receive all of the same sailing instruction as residents.

All campers receive a FREE camp T-shirt.
